Help plan for Black Pride in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD — Help lay the foundation for Black Pride events at a Tuesday meeting organized by Springfield Pridefest. The gathering will feature an open discussion about results of a survey conducted by Springfield PrideFest this spring that asked community members what they’d like to see at such an event. The gathering will also be a chance for potential leaders and volunteers to step forward, although everyone is welcome to attend.  The meeting will be 6 to 7 p.m. at The Springfield Project, 1100 S. Grand Ave. East.
