QUAD CITIES — With five events tomorrow alone, and at least 15 events still coming in June, Pride Month in the Quad Cities has hardly gotten started.

Here’s a rundown of Quad Cities Pride events still to come:

 

Tomorrow, June 14

  • The Atlas Collective offers a Pride Party all day starting at 9 a.m.. Swing by for LGBTQ+ community, tie-dying,  drink specials and more.
  • The QC Unity Pride Parade starts at 11 a.m., near 2nd and Iowa and follows a route across the Centennial Bridge, to Schwiebert Park in Rock Island. See a map of the route below.
  • “Love is Love” presents writings by local folks about Pride-related themes, at Moline’s Playcrafters Barn Theater. The night starts at 7 p.m.; tickets are just over $14.
  • Shots N’ Giggles N’ Pride is a night of improv comedy at Circa ‘21 to benefit Clock Inc. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
  • Newman’s Nightclub and Lounge offers a Pride-themed drag show starting at 10:30 p.m. Saturday night, in Davenport. Ginger Snaps hosts three other area queens.

June 19

  • Pride Night at the Take Cover Tiki Club, Moline, is a Pride month edition of Clock Inc.’s monthly fundraiser. New this time in addition to the Clocktail: tie-dye t-shirt-making.
  • Putnam Museum shows the classic  Hairspray at 7 p.m.

June 26

  • It’s another Clock Inc. gathering: That Big Pride Kickball Game is a chance for light-hearted competition to benefit the nonprofit. Free to participate 
Bi-State Unity Pride Parade

June 28

  • The Project of the Quad Cities kicks off the day with its annual Pride 5K Run Walk & Roll, starting at 8 a.m. You can still sign up here.
  • The Pride Party at Bass Street Landing, a gathering the Project started during COVID and is now a part of the Quad Cities’ annual Pride season, takes place from 3 to 10 p.m. Find vendors, drag and live music.
  • You get a second chance to attend Shots N’ Giggles N’ Pride,  a night of improv comedy at Circa ‘21 to benefit Clock Inc. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

June 29

  • Another new annual tradition, the Pride Family Picnic, happens 1 to 3 p.m.  at Ben Butterworth Park in Moline.
  • Clock Inc. hosts a Pride Hike. Gather at Black Hawk State Park at 10 a.m.
