It's the biggest fundraiser of the year for Metrocom NAACP. The theme is "All In," the evening features a social hour, vendor fair, and dinner, and the keynote speaker is Betty C. Andrews, head of the Iowa-Nebraska NAACP State Area Conference of Branches. Andrews is also head of Betty Andrews Media (BAM,) a member of the National NAACP Resolutions Committee, a public speaker on the topics of Criminal Justice Reform, Black History and Business Development; and a member of the Governor's FOCUS Committee on Criminal Justice Reform, Iowa Supreme Court Juvenile Justice Taskforce, the Drake University Diversity Task Force, The Des Moines Playhouse Executive Board, and the African American Museum and Cultural Center of Iowa board.
