Join The Atlas Collective independent bookstore, and award-winning author Shelby Van Pelt, for a Q&A at the library. Van Pelt's book, Remarkably Bright Creatures. tells the tale of an octopus and a cleaning lady who become "friends." The book became a New York Times best-seller and also won the Heartland Prize for Fiction and the McLaughlin-Esstman-Stearns First Novel Prize from The Writer’s Center. Atlas Collective will be on hand with the book for sale, and host Moline Public Library has moved the event to Bartlett Performing Arts Center because of strong demand.
