Join the Affirming Congregations of the QC, a new coalition of LGBTQ+-affirming spiritual organizations in the greater Quad Cities area, for a showing of the heralded documentary, "1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture." The evening also features a snacks potluck, and time for questions and answers. The film documents the "discovery of never-before-seen archives at Yale University which ..... cast significant doubt on any biblical basis for LGBTQIA+ prejudice." Free, with option for free-will offering.
