Styles Dim of Rock Island, Ill., headlines the MainStream House Concert May 24, in the second of a series celebrating independent artists.
She’ll be joined with a drag king turned vocalist Logan Blewz at the Saturday night event, happening at MainStream’s headquarters, 659 15th Ave., East Moline.

Dims, left in the cover photos is a Chicago native who performs a mix of rap, poetry, song and comedy in a performance that will also include advocacy for the cause of autism, a condition that both Dims and her children live with. Dims has performed in Chicago, Gary, Moline, Davenport and Cedar Rapids.

The event will also feature a visual artist to be announced. A Mix & Mingle starts at 5:30 p.m., featuring finger food and beverages, followed by Blewz at 7 p.m., and Dims taking the mike at 7:30 p.m. MainStream is located at 659 15th Ave., East Moline, Ill.
