More than five dozen events to protest the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency and its killing in Minneapolis of Renee Good are planned throughout Illinois and Iowa today and tomorrow.

The majority of events are organized by Indivisible, the nationwide political group formed in opposition to the Trump presidency. Also coordinating several events: the 50501 movement, one of the earliest protest organizations to form last year. Private individuals, smaller social justice nonprofits, and faith groups are also holding events.
