
Nikki Lunden Trotter of Iowa City headlines the inaugural MainStream House Concert, an event series celebrating independent artists.
A long-time roots rocker who now leads Natural Habits, Nikki also founded Lunden Reign and The Trollies. She’ll bring an intimate acoustic show to the new MainStream headquarters at 659 15th Ave., East Moline.
Also featured: Moline comedienne and Twisted Bo-Kay owner Patti Dee, who will showcase her balloon art. A regular at the Quad Cities’ ComedySportz, Dee will also provide a half-hour of comedy.
Featured artists for the night are Sarah Robb, an esteemed muralist whose work can be found all over the Quad Cities on exterior and interior buildings. Robb will provide an immersive exhibit of her work projected onto the walls of MainStream’s studio.
In addition, East Moline photographer Emily Freymann. Twill showcase selections including a glittering nighttime shot of downtown Chicago during COVID.
A Meet, Greet and Mingle with the artists starts at 5:30 p.m., and Patti Dee kicks off the concert at 7 p.m. with a half-hour of comedy. Nikki Lunden Trotter takes the mike at 7:30 p.m.
Refreshments will include Mexican macarons by Sweets & Keto by Ana, a Moline-based dessertier creating authentic Mexican sugar-free baked goods.
