Pride Bingo, special run 'E is for Everyone' beer Wednesday
AMANA — Describing it s a night to “celebrate our pride and support of EVERYONE,” Â MillStream Brewing hosts a night of Pride Bingo Wednesday. In addition to prizes and games, the night feature MIllStream Brewing’s own special run beer, “Rated E for Everyone.” First served in 2022, Rated E for Everyone is a blonde ale that features local honey, and that MillStream describes as “a smooth parade of refreshing, hoppy notes from the Lemon Drop and Azacca hop.” Join the fun 6 to 8 p.m. at MillStream, 835 48th Ave.

WINDSOR HEIGHTS — This Sound Bath: Pride Edition Wednesday is more than a sound bath: it will also feature a proprietary blend of essential oils, a cacao ceremony, vegan dark chocolate, cucumber mint water, and crystal gemstones to coordinate with the sounds generated from large and small chakra bowls by certified sound therapist Emily Nelson. "Queer and Christian" Book Club starts Wednesday
DES MOINES — Jump into “Queer and Christian,“an award-winning book that focuses on fact-based counters to the Bible’s “clobber verses” condemning LGBTQ+ people, in a five-week series that starts Wednesday. Downtown Disciples founder Pastor Debbie Griffin leads this gathering that looks at this 2025 book from “Tik-Tok pastor” Brandon Robertson.  Griffin is also a founder of the Rainbow Faith Coalition, an inclusive faith advocacy group in Des Moines.
